The Indiana Hoosiers have one of the most exciting and talented option quarterbacks in the nation running the offense this season in Freshman Antwaan Randle EL, who has 1,766 yards of total offense so far this year (143-562 and seven TD's rushing, 78 of 160 for 1204 yards, 6 INT's and 4 TD's passing). TB Frankie Franklin is another offensive threat to watch out for. He has rushed for 355 yards on 60 carries for a 5.9 yards per carry average.

The IU defense has been much improved, holding Big Ten powers Wisconsin, Iowa, and Michigan to a total of 52 points combined. This unit can wreck havoc at times. Just ask Ohio State two years ago in their last visit to Bloomington (27-17 Rose Bowl - clinching victory after trailing 10-7 in the second half). MLB Jabar Robinson (73 tackles, 4 INT's) and fast De Adewale Ohunleye (holds school record for tackles-for-loss, 13 TFL this season, along with six sacks) are the leaders of this hard-nosed unit.

The intangibles favor Indiana as they look for respect and to get better on both sides of the ball to try and ruin top ranked OSU's season. Look for a little trickery (a Randel El quick kick or catching a pass out of the backfield after throwing a screen pass behind the line of scrimmage, reverses, and a fake punt or field goal) from the Hoosiers to try and upset the heavily-favored (24 is the line) Bucks on this Halloween day.

Ohio State should be fired up for this game, they fell to #2 in the new BCS* (Bowl Championship Series) Poll. IU, although improved, will need plenty of help in the form of turnovers, to pull off the shocking upset of the decade.

Prediction: OSU 31-13.

*Note: Ohio State fell to #2, because of strength of schedule - if they stay #2, they'll still be in the championship game (#1 vs. #2). The AP & ESPN/USA Today Poll have the Bucks #1 by a clear margin - it's not even close!. BCS determines who plays for the National (college) title.
